5 out of 5 stars good for the money   April 10, 2007

I really like this bike trailer. I am not a seasoned bicyclist (I really haven't rode much in the past three years.) I did not find this hard to pull on the local trails. I think it is a bit hard to pull on slight hills though. My kids are 17 months and 3 years. Their combined weight is about 65 lbs. My daughter is tall and she seems a little crammed in the trailer, but she doesn't complain. They both really like riding and my son usually falls asleep! There are little pouches on the inside of the trailer for sippy cups or snacks. The compartment behind the kids is roomy! I can easily pack a diaper bag, and a lunch box in it. It was very easy to set up and folds down. I can fit it under the back seat of my minivan. I usually don't have the third row seat in the van so I usually leave it set up and it fits in the van without being collapsed. I am very happy that I bought this! When my daughter doesn't fit with her brother anymore I might buy another one so me and my wife can take the kids in their own trailers. Great product.

**If you are thinking about buying the cheaper ones that they sell at Wal*mart please keep in mind that the storage compartment is smaller. It also is a different brand. My sister in law has it and I prefer mine to hers.

I bought this for my 2-1/2 year old. She's not the type of kid to sit behind you & watch the back of your head while you get all the great views! This was great...she LOVES it, and so do we! We even mocked an accident (with stuffed animals of course!)..and it never tipped over! Just the bike did...the trailer stayed standing..now imagine some weight besides some stuffed animals..it would certainly stay put! You MUST use the flag that comes with it, cars coming at you...CANNOT see the trailer, they are focused on you...so use the flag! I've taken this out for about 40 miles worth of traveling...and even when she's tired...she will stay in it & sleep while Mommy get's her excercise :)
It appears to be better for one child, but 2 can fit...if they are under 50 lbs. each. Great for bringing groceries home too, there's a nice sized trunk in the back of it that your child can't get into!

This trailer is absolutely perfect for my two-year-old daughter who is still a little young for her own bike, but wants to go on rides with Mom and Dad. She has been enjoying it and even fell asleep in it a few times. I recommend propping up pillows or towels next to your child if you think he/she may fall asleep. If not, she's bent over in half! I was surprised that I didn't really feel awkward or much extra weight behind me (and my daughter weighs at least 32 lbs.). We live in a very flat area, so that must help. We ordered an extra coupler from the company for Dad's bike, so it's easy for either of us to pull her. We recently took our bikes and the trailer on a weekend trip, and I was pleased to see that set up and break down is pretty simple. The trailer fit in the trunk easily. I definitely recommend this trailer and am very happy I bought it!

5 out of 5 stars A Great Investment For The Price   October 10, 2008

I decided to buy this bike trailer after reading all the reviews and conducting an extensive search for the perfect bike trailer for my family. When the package arrived I was able to put it together myself with little effort. It hooked to my bike nicely with no problems. Other reviewers have complained that the cover did not snap on easily. And that they felt it needed to be "stretched". I didn't experience that at all. The cover snapped on easily since day one.

After reading other reviews I was concerned for my children's comfort considering this would be used for a 4 year old and a 2 year old. They both fit in nicely. My 4 year old is tall for her age, and she did not complain once of being uncomfortable. Both children seemed to fit nicely in there with no complaints. I did make sure to have the strap that goes under the seat tightened snuggly, and I believe this helped them not to slide into each other in the middle.

I took this on cement as well as on dirt paths and the ride was very smooth. I felt no drag from having the trailer attached as some other reviews mentioned. In fact at one point the kids were so quiet and the ride was so smooth that I forgot they were being pulled behind me.

The storage area in the back is really nice. I was able to put some snacks and jackets back there with room to spare.

The trailer folds down easily for storage. It does not fold completely flat because of the back wheels, but the whole trailer itself does fold flat. It is very easy to store.

I would definitely recommend this trailer to anyone who is going to be doing light to moderate riding with the kids. This is my first bike trailer, and I feel I made a good decision buying the InStep Quick N EZ Bike Trailer.

5 out of 5 stars Great Bike Trailer   June 7, 2007

This was a really great purchase! It works very well as a bike trailer and our nephew loves riding in it. It has a smooth ride and lots of storage room. It really makes exercising fun for all. However, it is not that great as a jogging stroller. It is really meant to be used as a bike trailer and they added the front wheel as an extra bonus, but it does not work that well. The front does not have enough weight on it so the front wheel tends to come off of the ground very easily when pushing it. It is also a bit big for a stroller. If you use this bike trailer as intended you will be very happy with it!
