Best levers April 17, 2009 Sara Tolliver 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I am a bike mechanic and have used Park Tool plastic levers, metal core levers, and countless other generic brands. No other brand has worked as well as Pedro's. They are a bit bulky and cumbersome with stubborn tires, but I have had very few break on me at the shop. They also clip onto spokes nicely and therefore eliminate the need for 3 levers. I have my own personal set that clip together and fit in my small saddle bag nicely. Highly recommended.
pretty cool May 29, 2009 Dante El Camino 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
this was the first time I've ever changed a tire on a bike, so i rolled the dice and got these because of their low price. the picture makes them look a little flimsy, but they're actually pretty tough. they did the job well, and they snap together so you don't loose one. not much else to say... buy them.
Awesome! January 18, 2010 Gemelle (OC, California) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I read the reviews on Amazon and online for good bicycle tire levers and I have to say Pedro's Bicycle Tire Levers are the best! They are very sturdy.
They come in a pair and I thought I only needed one to change the tire. Well it turns out it's easier to use two at the same time. So if you like to have a spare at home I recommend purchasing two pairs of these. One for the road and one at home, it's the same shipping price anyway.
Indispensible tool for avid bicyclists December 2, 2009 John Q Public (Long Island, NY) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
For those of us who ride in bike-unfriendly terrain (mountain biking over trails with jagged rocks or urban riding with curb-jumping over broken-glass-strewn sidewalks), this tool is indispensable.
With a spare tube and portable pump, this set of tire levers is your salvation if you get a flat, so you don't get stranded miles from help.
Highly recommended for avid cyclists!
Excellent Tire Levers November 5, 2009 Brian Linn (USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
These levers are sturdy and thick. I changed several flats (both mountain and road tires) with these levers and experienced zero issues. I received these from a bike mechanic during an instructional course where I learned to easily remove all but the most stubborn tires with one lever, so the lack of a third lever did not impact my review. They take up just slightly more room than the flimsier levers but perform significantly better - I highly recommend these levers.
